Impreza Tyre wear...
Discussion
Hey all.
I've picked up a second set of alloy with Toyo T1-R's on them... 2 are worn and 2 are like new. I was planning on buying 2 tyres so that I have 4 good ones.
So, questions:
1) Do subarus tend to wear 1 set faster than the others? This is so that I can put the old ones on the axle which will/should wear them less, and they'll even out over time and then I can rotate them.
2) Are subarus sensitive to having slightly (and I do mean slightly, I'd be surprised if the used T1-R's had more than a mm shaved off of them) more worn tyres on one axle? You don't have to replace them in 4's every time like the olden days of Volvo AWD systems do you?
Cheers.

My Bugeye owners book says to change in 4s but my 2004 Forester owners book says you don't need to. This question comes up fairly often, the consensus tends to be not to worry about it.2) Are subarus sensitive to having slightly (and I do mean slightly, I'd be surprised if the used T1-R's had more than a mm shaved off of them) more worn tyres on one axle?
