Hi there, just wondering if anyone has any comments on a suitable upgrade for the brakes on a 1998 UK WRX. I believe the rears are a "slider" type.....but thinking of Brembo 4 pots on front....would this make a difference...i currently have standard size but Tarox front discs and better pads so would there be a big advantage in changing from 2 pots to the 4 pots??......i'm thinking of some track day use and have also just read the posts about overheating/fading brakes so now not sure if i should just stick with whats on it!!!.......thanks for any comments

Have you experienced any fade with your setup?

I have the oem 4pot callipers on mine with tarox discs, ebc red stuff pads and dot 5.1 fluid and am yet to experience any fade in road driving.

If you have 2 pots on the front then yes upgrading to 4 pots would make a difference. The discs are bigger and would give you more stopping power. However many people have reported fade with 4 pots when running OEM discs and pads, so if you are doing track days it would be best to upgrade them.
