Living in MK hardly ever got pulled over, (well not for pathetic things anyways) living up north all the time! Even just them hanging behind me and following me for a while, do they run your number plate through their systems?

I know that scoobys used to have a reputation around the boyracer scene but tbh am actually starting feel friken vicitmised!!

Never had an issue in the Legacy, been given a couple of friendly warnings for going sideways in MX5s though!

In hindsight, the roundabout in front of the police station probably wasn't the best place to let loose my inner 6-year old

You're not going to get pulled in an old mans car are you Ben winktongue out

I have never been pulled over in my scoob other than when i was speeding, and rightly so as i've said in other threads.

Perhaps you should get back to MK. There are lots of scoobs in Northants for sure, and i don't think i've ever seen one pulled over by the cops since living here for the past 7yrs.

Ditto to Ben wink

I even got pulled for my number plate the other week it wasn't particularly different, had a PH logo on it, 3 times this week, they like hang back in the lane (dual carriage way) two cars behind then come along side me and eyeball me, speeding yeah fair enough but it staring to really pee me off!!

No. In fact, I know three coppers/police staff that own Imprezas.

It sounds like northern coppers have solved all their crimes, are bored stless and have nothing else better to do than to ogle a girlie in a scoob. They have girlie in a scoob syndrome. There you go!!

Obviously a bit of a novelty up there. Round these parts there certainly are a fair few girlies in a scoob, and more power to their elbows, or 4WD, or mobile makeup mirrors, whichever they prefer!! biggrin

A hot chick in a scooby. I would take it as a compliment wink

Personally, I have never been pulled, and my car is ludicrously loud... Perhaps that's because I either have my cute twin girls in the back, or am wearing a suit...

Yes, either via the radio or an ANPR system if the car is fitted with it. It's no big deal though, Imprezas were once on the hotlist of stolen cars. I'd rather the police still paid attention to them, in a way they're really looking after Impreza owners. Makes you know if yours gets pinched the thief has that much less of a chance of getting away with it!

Only ever pulled once and that was for tinted front windows - was polite and the coppers had a great attitude (Durham Constabulary) other than that I've never been pulled.

If I came into contact with a copper otherwise, they always showed a great deal of interest in the cars (esp the 22B). Never a bad experience - but then I chose a time and a place for "spirited driving" and didn't provoke them to pull me over.

Its just you :-P

No, unfortunately I've had it too. My mate lives in the other end of Glasgow I've been stopped two or three times within a few weeks of each other by the police when dropping him off late at the weekends.

Each time it’s been a quick look around the vehicle, check the tyres and tax then leave me to it.

Another time I was stopped because of “erratic driving”. I had slowed down and steered carefully around a massive crater in the road.

Not really, lots of police women are lesbians you know, anyhoo I didn't pay you a compliment to start an argument so I am sorry, as an apology I have even corrected your poor grammar and punctuation on your post in the quote.
