Hi, i had a short engine replaced last year, because i had stripped most of the engine down before it went into the garage, i forgot to leave the air con belt tensioner in the car.
Car is a 55 plate 2.5 fozzie

Fitted it back on last week, lights come on the dash, checked all the fuses even jumped a temp supply to the air con pump clutch, the clutch pulled in ok. The air con pump does not operate otherwise no matter how the controls are set.

The pump was removed with the hoses still connected.
thanks

I fitted a new pump to my WRX a few years ago. Used pump cost £75 back then, No idea how much one will be today. Give Andy a call at Grade A Subaru. They are a specialist Subaru breaker and they are very good.

cheers, the pipes from the pump seemed to get cold when the pump clutch was jumped from the battery.
done a little digging on google, seems to suggest a relay problem or needs gassing??
will try swapping relays tommorrow weather permitting.

If there is no gas the pump won't work
