With talented players like Bellingham, Foden, Rice, Walker, Maddison, Mainoo, Watkins, Kane, Palmer, Rashford, Saka, etc

Surely we now should be able to win it?

I can only see France and Germany as the other teams that could give a challenge...

I genuinely can't tell, is this sarcasm?

Mainoo has one season of PL football under his belt.

Rashford - 13 goal contributions in 40 games this season. Abysmal for an attacking player in a top side.

Maddison - should have kicked on after putting in 19 goal contributions in 30 games in a Leicester side that was relegated, but has returned less this season in a Spurs side that have spent the majority of the season in the top 4.

Kane - lacks the mentality to actually win anything. Just a goalscorer with nothing else to his game.

Watkins/Palmer - had fantastic seasons but untested at International tournament level.

From your list that leaves Bellingham, Foden, Rice, Walker, Saka. Talented bunch, but not enough to win the Euros in my opinion.

Quote me on this as I'll happily eat humble pie if we pull it off!
All valid points.

I still think we still nudge it with the quality we have in our squad and options.

This is also based on if Southgate wants to actually win the tournament or just have another run to the Finals, semis, etc

Who is your tip for the win?

Surely we can win against France and Germany with this squad?

The only downfall is having Southgate being the manager and his sometimes weird tactics...

James Madison already dropped from the squad.

Apparently, Luke Shaw has only just started light training yesterday.

I'm still in the view that it is Englands to lose this time.

We have a squad that is very strong in attack and decent enough in defence.

The only one who could lose it for us is Gareth Southgate.

There have been 16 games played so far (As of Slovenia vs Serbia), and 6 goals have been scored in added-on time!

Seems like a high percentage of last-minute goals.

It makes it great for watching neutral games!

Best national anthem in the world!

Proper gets your hairs on your back up.

Always reminds me of when Ferrari win in F1.

The current England team need this kind of passion that is sadly missing:

3 more goals scored in added on time!

Euro 2024 is the Fergie Time tournament.
