Not in the slightest dear boy. Good to see you`ve found your own thread, no don`t thank me for starting it. Twas a pleasure, wasn`t difficult really. Enjoy talking about long throws and how far and how high chaps can hoof it.
These hammers fans are so gracious in defeat, they even open up a thread for us!!dowahdiddyman said:
People keep on about Delap but if he were to want a transfer all the so-called big four would be after him. If he were in the UTD team throwing them on Rooney`s head people would say it is the perfect weapon.
Without doubt one of the top five funniest comments I've ever read on Pistonheads.sjc said:

Great isn`t it. Having your own thread. Treat it carefully, don`t throw it away or hoof it in to the long grass.
As clearly stated in my post on your thread, your fantastic goal yesterday was a spectical to behold, that graceful 40 odd yard hoof was brilliant, and the control was fantastic and the way you played in the last 15 min, total football was on display for us Stoke fans to behold forever!!Listen there is no right or wrong way to play this game, you have your team, I have mine, we play to our strengths you play to yours, that's the beauty of football.
Tell me hand on heart that if you had a Rory throw at west ham you wouldn't clap and cheer or encourage it?

It may have (just) been hand ball but to call that through ball a hoof would be like saying Stoke try to play football. It's a damning indictment of a teams style to expect Bolton to be playing the football.
Pisser, please!! that must mean Stoke play at least 40 through balls per half, Come on then please explain the correct way to play ENGLISH football,

Through balls that lead to goals? Or hit and hopes?! I'm going to leave it at that because I hate to argue.
No you not going! Your be checking back on here soon, so talk me through that "through ball" if it clears his head and goes out for throw is it still a through ball? Like I've already stated I'm not here to argue, I very rarely check or post on here, but I will defend my team as I see best just as you did on the west ham thread yesterday,

Sadly that seems to be a case of 'if you don't have the talent to get a free-kick up and over the wall, blast it as hard as you can and get someone to pull a hole in the wall'. What concerns me is that Danny Higginbotham knew where the hole was going to be so it was obviously something Stoke have practiced on the training ground. Aren't they better than that?Arthur Jackson said:

Oh dear, Arthur yes your right, unfortunately we dont have anyone with the talent to get the ball up and over the wall from such close range in a bang on dead central position, although I can only probably think of a handful of players with this ability, however I very much doubt they will ever be seen in a Stoke shirt. As for your concerns over how Higgy knew where the hole would "appear", I'm just baffled, I'm presuming that footballers like us can communicate in some shape or form, and with the wall being only 10 yards away it would be wise open a hole in the wall somewhere near the goal.

Bumped to the top, now the West Sham take over has gone....
Take over? of what? this thread? the thread gifted to the legions of Delap Apologists who don`t have the nous to start themselves. Understandable though as it`ll die on it`s sorry arse by April. Watch out for sudden invasions of wkers from other teams the next time you lose. Shouldn`t have to wait too long for that.
