The Sack Race...
Discussion
Gents,
Please enter your hopes/predictions for the sack from their respectful positions as manager of the respective football club.
I'll start:
Alan Pardew - no results and bottom at christmas. Sacking due
Mark Hughes - fails to curb the latin tempraments and the big money egos, as Adebayor goes missing on international duty Also in the bottom half by Christmas.
Entries, please, will be most grateful

I should preface this by saying that 'The Prophet' is a sarcastic nickname my mates have given me due to my ability to get every sporting prediction I make totally wrong. Still, I'll give it a go.
Phil Brown. Hull's form in the second half of last season is what you can reasonably expect this season. That means they're going to be in the bottom three pretty much all season. According to Phil Brown, everything that goes wrong is someone else's fault and eventually the board and fans will get sick of him. Sacked by christmas.

Good call

Hmmmm could be an inspired call on Brown getting bagged first but Hull have stood by him and lets face it they were very unlikely survivors last year.
As a Bolton fan I regret saying it but Gary Megson might be first to go unless we seriously strengthen our squad things aren't looking too good so far in terms of players in.

My 2p:
1] Mark Hughes - Has to be in there. If City have an early record of something like 1 win in 6 or 2 in 9 (even if they have a few draws) then you have to imagine that he's toast.
Then the real fun would start with trying to suss out the replacement.
2] Paul Hart - Probably a nice guy but an average manager (at best) and bound to be under pressure post takeover with all the decent players having done one (or trying to do one). Unless the new bloke splashes the cash I can see Pompey going down.
3] Steve Bruce - Dunno but for some reason I think the panto dame might be in trouble & wishing he was back at Plucky Little Wigan. Demanding owner but little chance of attracting any decent players, not good with so few goals in the team. If he doesn't get, say, Darren Bent and results don't go then I reckon the Spanish Archer will loom.
Honourable mention - Phil Brown and the guy that delivers his fake tan (he must be strong enough to give Brock Lesnar a big can of whoop ass).
Phil Brown was fending off critisism at the end of last season. If you don't start well I can see him being fired.
Mark Hughes has a lot of pressure to deliver, if they aren't top 4 this season I can see him being a goner.
Steve Bruce moved to a 'bigger' club yet has failed to buy anyone of note. If they struggle he'll be gone.
Really hope its not Roberto Martinez at Wigan.

so far we have:
Mark Hughes - now has the squad. Sacking rumours to start around October after mixed results. Rumours start of re-installation of Sven...or Mourinho
Paul Hart - Pompey collapse, bottom by Christmas, and you know what they said about teams bottom by christmas...
Pardew - nuff said
Phil Brown - Will pay the price for consistent moaning
Gary Megson
Steve Bruce
Jim Magilton
what about a small wager on Sven jumping ship at Notts County????
