It was heartening to hear the Wednesday fans in full voice at Norwich last night. So much so that City fans were applauding them. The evening was made worse by hearing that the proposed takeover has stalled. I'm not really sure that the club can bounce back straight away from League 1. They huffed and puffed last night but never looked like scoring - I don't think a scoreline of 4-0 would have been unrealistic.

I really hope for football's sake that the club can weather this and reform itself. It was bad enough losing Bury but Wednesday were once a big club.
