There will be arguments for several managers this season. Who will be yours?

Arteta? Doing a fine job at Arsenal but nothing secured yet.
PEP? It's maybe expected for City win the League with his team. If he wins, he shouldn't necessarily win MOTS.
Klopp? Liverpool may win the League. Will surely win MOTS if he does, especially as he's announced his retirement from the EPL.
Emery? He's turned Aston Villa around into Title/Europe contenders. Has to get above 4th place for him to win it, surely
Edwards? If he secures PL survival with his lowly Luton Town, he surely should be in the mix.
O'Neill? From relegation contenders, Wolves were rudderless when left in the lurch by Lopetegui, he has produced a great team pushing for Europe, beating many of the Top 6.

Winning the EPL shouldn't mean they are awarded MOTS, especially when other perform against the odds (but we all know who'll get it!).

Any other contenders?

Emery for me so far. Having taken Villa from a relegation place to 7th last season he's continued their rise and now sits in a solid 4th place only 8 points off top spot and through to the next round of the conference league having won their group.

A top 4 PL finish, a European Final, and CL football next season look entirely possible and would be an incredible achievement.

Surely Emery. Not sure why you think he needs to be top 3 then say that Edwards and O'Neill are contenders.

ETH, purely for his deluded after match comments about the team have to be ready, confident, believe in themselves, they're improving, getting rid of back up defenders with no back up to replace long term injured and finally for going after and securing Mount when Maddison, and Ward Prowse were available. I know Utd have been a sh*tshow for years but he hasn't brought anything to the club as an improvement.

Yes he has, the processss and to trust in it. Might as well have given £400 million to Barry Chuckle. Fergie apart we've had some pretty ordinary management since 1973 really but for SJR to give this guy any more money or time would be insane.

Another for Emery. Getting more out of what was already at Villa.

Erik Ten Haag; considering he has to work under the Glazers.

He was manager of the first 3 months. They're out of every competition at this point and are just about hanging on to the potential 5th place CL berth.

Got to be Pep. Always cobbles up a decent team with limited resources.

Enzo Maresca - Leicester City (Championship)

First managerial job - top of league most of season with healthy points gap (likely to finish as Champions). Also, Quarter Finals of FA Cup.

Not bad for starters! clap C’mon the Foxes!!

Probably Emery. As others have said the turnaround he's managed is unbelievable.

Feel like an outside shout for Dyche aswell - managing to get the odd result here and there with essentially zero investment in the squad in an absolute headcase of a club. Maybe not MOTS, but an honourable mention surely.

Michael Beale.

Manages to get himself sacked nine weeks into a two and a half contract. Nice tidy payoff for less than three months work, he's the Liz Truss of football.

Moyes...according to the main stream press who have said he is the best thing since sliced bread after coming in for stick from the fans.

But back in the real world, Emery at the moment for me. For turning them around and if not for a stumble of late would still be up in the hunt for top spot. They play great football and a wonderful redemption story from his Arsenal stint.

But of course it will go to Klopp because it is based on winning things not relative performance.

Depends how it finishes, long way to go yet, but either Emery or Arteta so far.

De Zerbi deserves a mention too I reckon.

It should be Emery, but I'm very happy we got O'neill rather than Michael Beale hehe

Most had Wolves pinned for relegation at the start of the season, with Gary taking over suddenly 3 days before the season started. Give us a few of the points back that VAR fingered out of us and we'd be even happier biggrin
