Buying World Cup 2030 tickets?
Discussion
What’s the process for buying a ticket for a World Cup game?
Despite not being a big football fan I’d love to go watch England play in the 2030 World Cup which is being held in Spain, Portugal & Morocco. But how do I go about this?
Do I have to join a football association?
How soon before a World Cup do tickets get released
After the group stages would I already need a ticket for Englands next match even though I won’t know if they’ll qualify to the next rounds?
Would I be buying flights and accommodation in advance without even knowing when England will play?
Any advice appreciated

Talk about planning for the future.
The FiFA site is still registering interest for the next world cup so guess keep an eye on it after 26

If you specifically want to watch England then you can join the FA's supporters travel club. Every FA gets an allocation of tickets for their games at the world cup, usually around 8-10% of the stadium's capacity. These get allocated on a loyalty basis so you have a much greater chance of getting tickets if you attend a number of the games, home and away, in the years leading up to the tournament. The benefit of buying tickets via the FA is that they get conditional tickets for the knockout games so you know that you'll be attending the 2nd round/QF etc that England are in whereas buying through FIFA in the general sale you have to gamble on which route England will take.
There are usually several phases of ticket sales through FIFA. The first you will be buying blind, so before the draw is even made. Then there is usually another phase after the draw and finally a resales phase as the tournament approaches where you can sometimes pick up tickets if you are on the ball.
Both routes are likely to be heavily oversubscribed given that it's the most accessible world cup for english fans since Germany in 2006

Thanks, I wondered how it worked. I probably wouldn't get much chance of being able to buy tickets as I won't be going to any of the other England games before the World Cup.There are usually several phases of ticket sales through FIFA.
