What is the real difference in skill, speed and strength, between women's football and boys/men's football. The reason I ask this is because the senior USA women's team played Wrexham last week I think and didn't do too well. So, I am going to attach a video of that to show the comparison. I am also going to link a video of Zurich women's team playing a Zurich U15 team (who all look like 13 - 14 year olds).

I wasn't aware it had been done before.

The standard of goalkeeping is worse than the outfield play imo.

I enjoy watching women's football, hockey etc I find the difference in athleticism between the sexes irrelevant, it's the competition between the teams that counts (assuming same sex!).
The England women's hockey Olympic gold was one of the best, most entertaining matches I've ever seen, and of course the Lionesses...

It's almost seems like (whisper it quietly) men and women are physically different. Crazy huh?
To paraphrase Rick James "testosterone is a helluva drug"

Wider hips and the angle of the femur towards the knee joints is a key factor, it's not an ideal configuration for acceleration and speed. But enough about Harry Maguire.

OP appears not to know or understand that elite teenage male sports people are athletically superior to their elite senior female counterparts across almost all athletic sports.

It wasn't the current US women's team either.

Lee Trundle is definitely getting on, but he's not retired and is still banging in goals against enthusiastic amateurs and occasional semi-pro. His time at Wrexham was hardly the peak of his career.

Even Wrexham players definitely make a professional salary compared to Women's Football salaries in the USA.

"Before the CBA was agreed to, NWSL minimum salaries were $22,000, $10,000 below what is considered a living wage. About a third of players made the minimum in 2021, with 75 percent making under a living wage. Many players were forced to take second or third jobs to survive.

That all changed with the new CBA, which guaranteed a salary of $35,000 for all players. "

Well they clearly don't as they are the world champions and have been the best women's team in the world for ages.

Well that is a totally incorrect assumption, as I have qualifications in sports physiology and I am a qualified personal trainer. In this current climate of biology deniers, I just saw a chance to highlight the obvious differences.

I disagree, the skill levels are about on par with a struggling non league team.

So the point of the thread was to show there is biological differences between men and women?

I’m a bit lost.

Got the feeling you were taking the piss out of women’s professional football.
