Outright winners odd from SkyBet… expect a fair bit of movement between now and the first ball being kicked.
All of which leaves me fearing we could have a very poor summer transfer window which will in turn leave us with a squad that's ill equipped to be competitive over 46 games in the Championship. Obviously hope I'm wrong but I see more difficult times ahead for Leeds....

Guess you guys are favorites to win the league? Which is about right I'd say but your starting XI is going to look a bit different next year...
It’s very early but I’m fairly certain at this stage we won’t be winning the league, we’re an absolute mess. Ignore the media, they haven’t clicked on to the full extent of the mess and still thought we would stay up until a week or so ago. Happy to finally make it over the line after the Wembley win yesterday. Wednesday never do it the easy way! I think mid table consolidation would be the best that we can hope for unless we seriously add some youth and pace to the squad. Sunderland set a good example for us to follow this season.
Thinking about it, could Southampton be a good shout @ 10/1? They've got a load of young hungry players, could be the making of them. Anyone off? Whose the chap who chose them over Everton, Sulemana? - although I think the deal was nearly done and we tried to hijack at the last minute
Don't really fancy Leicester and Leeds to win (wouldn't have fancied Everton either) due to squad trimming and general unrest. But if they get the rebuild half right they ought to be in the mix for top 6

I can see it being a much closer title race that's for sure. As many above have mentioned, the 3 who have come down will lose a lot of players. Maybe Leicester will be ok as they will sell a lot but will have funds to strengthen. Smith isn't the worst Championship manager out there.
As a Birmingham Fan, we have just released a lot of dead wood from when we let Harry Redknapp loose with the chequebook. Hopefully the EFL confirm our takeover soon and we look forward and strengthen over the summer and John Eustace can finally put his mark on the club.

Like Leicester we will lose a load of players. If the club doesn’t back the manager with championship ready players we will struggle next season.Don't really fancy Leicester and Leeds to win (wouldn't have fancied Everton either) due to squad trimming and general unrest. Some of our fans think it’s going to be a breeze but I think it’s going to be tough.
I'll raise my hand and represent my team Hull City (aka "bluddy taargers" in Hull speak)
Now we've consigned the previous ownership to history (Allam family with their doomed Hull Tigers name change and subsequent loss of interest and investment when it was blocked) I'm feeling more hopeful than the 28\1 odds
Promising young manager in Liam Rosenior - played for us in prem and "his nannas from Hull" so has local interests - developing a recognisable play it out from the back style
We need and have started to offload some of the Turkish players the chairman brought with him - I think a number found the physical demands of the championship a bit much and spent a lot of last season injured
As with everyone we need a striker and a midfield general and foreign goalie Dario from Newcastle on a perm deal
I'm working on a flirtation with the playoffs - probably a touch ambitious

Blindsided me as well. Our Mr Chansiri is a bit random so I shouldn't be too surprised. I guess it was probably over recruitment / next season's budget.Gassing Station | Football | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
