There is. Threads like this just don't seem to last that long (I started one ages ago ).
Hoping today's result will serve as a boost in the league, as I'm still not convinced we won't feck the league up (has to be automatic promotion, which means 2ns place now).
Managed to take my young boys to a couple of games thus far this season too (win against Stoke, loss to Luton).
Bring on Man City in the cup

I need to get to a game. Not been in years due to moving daan saaauuff. Funnily enough I’m in Yarmouth with the family for the weekend so closest i have been to them in ages. I fear if we don’t win today it won’t be good. Looks a proper messy first half. A win's a win And Boro choking was handy. tbf they are always like this. Nothing is ever safe.
If we get promoted, I suspect it won't be a long stay. The mess behind the scenes will prevent the changes in players that are needed. But hey, it'll be good to be up there
Could have ended so differently today. If only we put away that amazing chance in the first few minutes and then the scummy decision for the penalty.
Oh well.
Will be the same as all the times before going up. No change, no plan. We will either sit low and go down or ride the middle table.

I think they played OK.
I'm not sure the penalty decision was that bad. Yes, Jebbison clipped the ball. But only after Fernandes had, and Jebbison's foot was going through Fernandes, only clipping the ball after it change direction itself. It was an unnecessary challenge - lack of experience.
The second goal was soft from us. Robinson's fault IMO. Clueless as to what to do. I'm not a fan of his. He's a card or mistake waiting to happen every game.
The last goal was just seriously well taken.
Ndiaye can be forgiven anything in my eyes at the moment. He should have hit that 90s effort first time...but he's pretty much the only player we have with any spark. McBurnie, for example, is a waste of time. And Sharp is now too old.
The scoreline didn't show how well we held them IMO, and we kept Haaland very quiet. But the scoreline did show the gulf in quality. Man City don't need Haaland to score...if it takes 2-3 players to keep him quiet, that opens up the game for the other 10, all of whom would make pretty much most first 11s even in the current Prem.
If we manage mid-table next season (assuming we get promoted), I'll be delighted. If we don't get money to spend, we're coming straight back down.

Big match tomorrow fellow Blades, Luton v Middlesbrough. Draw would be nice. Either way, not much needed to guarantee promo, and lets face it, no Blade wants another playoff.
Anybody know why the Kop is open for ticket sales again?
A draw would be perfect We CANNOT end up in the play offs if we want to go up.Anybody know why the Kop is open for ticket sales again?
Not looked at tickets as cannot make the last two home games...and only go in the family areas anyway
