Very sorry to hear this. Terry was always my favourite (Non Manchester City) player in the 1960's, he was a great overlapping left wing full back, and had a great partnership with Paul Reaney on the other flank. Played for England in Mexico in 1970. Both players were role models to young kids and played fair unlike some others in that Leeds side such as Giles, Charlton and Bremner, who were wonderful players in their own right and didn't need to resort to the dirty stuff.

Terry also had spells managing both Bristol Rovers And City.

He was a genuine nice guy.

Cooper was a really good player, but I wouldn't be so sure about the "always played fair" bit. Like the rest of that infamous Leeds side, he was quite accomplished at the dark arts. He wasn't out and out vicious like Giles, and he wasn't a total thug in the Bremner mould, but he was no angel, if my memory serves me right.

But very sad he's gone. Not many left from WW3 (the 70 Cup final replay) left.

A very tough but skilful player. Considering that the pitches in those days consisted of rolled mud for much of the season.
