What happened to long sleeve jerseys?

Made much more sense to me when I was younger. I’d gladly pay a few quid more for long sleeve football tops, especially with our wintry weather. I’ve still got one. Doesn’t seem to be an option any more. Even goalkeepers have short sleeves. Mind you players do seem to have matching thermal undergarments nowadays.
