Obviously great to see folk back in the stadiums and hope everyone enjoyed their day, but after watching the footy on tv last night I was wondering why they don't use all the available space in the stands to provide the most social distancing that is available. 2,000 fans is great for a safe distancing return in a 20k ground but I don't get why they don't use the total space available.
I know this will provide the atmosphere that we all want but surly small steps towards this will be better than any increase in infections which will have non-footy fans pointing the finger accusingly.
I'm sure lots of safe procedures were used (big thanks to all stewards etc !! ,) any comments from attending fans on their experience of how it was handled and could you see numbers gradually increasing (hopefully soon).

I didn't go but I'm sure the reason for restricting access to only one area of the ground is purely down to logistics to be able to manage the situation with an appropriate number of staff. And like you say - having all the fans in one stand helps generate an atmosphere. I'm sure things will scale up from here.
