So, big night for Wimbledon fans tonight as Plough Lane finally sees a match.

is it about time the 'MK Dons' relinquished their stupid name, and just become 'Milton Keynes'???

Be interesting to hear from fans of both clubs

MK Dons is fine. They are in MK, and their origins go back to Wimbledon.

Should Arsenal change their name, they left Woolwich a while back now?

Surely the point is that they correctly dropped Woolwich from their name.?

MK Dons is fine. It's been the name of the club since 2004. There are plenty of City's and Rovers and Uniteds so its good to have the Dons and the Hotspurs of the world.

Huge congratulations are due to those Wimbledon fans who got together back in 2002 to form AFC Wimbledon and have the vision to get back in to the football league and get back home to Merton. There's been a lot of ups and downs on the way but its a brilliant story and a huge shame that no fans will be present tonight.
