FIFA have deferred the current scandal over handball’s in the game to IFAB who set the rules and refereeing standards for world football.
Our own PMGOL is headed up by none other than Mike Riley, an arrogant odious little man at best. He was like Mike Dean on steroids when he refereed. Would never admit a mistake no matter how bad. Never reversed a decision. According to a few paper reports today premier league refs are up in arms, pun intended, about how they are being asked to enforce the handball rule. You could see clearly that even Dean did not want to give one of those decisions awarded recently. This interpretation of the rule is Riley’s decision for better or worse.
You’d hope we could look to IFAB for help as other countries do not seem to be impacted in the way the premier league is. That’s of course until you find out that IFAB’s head of refereeing None other than f
king David Ellery. Another arrogant odious little man. A former Public school master who dropped teaching to become a ref . Another who would never admit a mistake.
These clowns need hounding out of their roles for the good of the game. They, as history shows are not the sort to admit mistakes So the have to be removed and replace with more progressive thinkers. VAR is here to stay but it’ll cripple football while we’ve got two Herberts in charge.
