Yep was just going to say, if you ignore some of the obvious PR crap, it's actually a very good insight into what goes on behind closed doors at a premiership club, it's certainly opened my eyes a bit and made me see some of it in a new light.

Who knows, you might actually enjoy it and perhaps god forbid, even learn something about the sport we love. Or just carry on taking the piss, the choice is yours.

I think I'll do both.

Talking about no fans lol, coming from the team that couldn't even sell Wembley out every time they played there.
We weren't allowed to sell it out every time we played there. Wembley has planning restrictions meaning they can only have a restricted number of full capacity events in a year.

I suppose we could have just taken a leaf out of Arsenal's book and reported a sell out every game regardless of how many people actually attended, but that would be a bit, you know, dishonest.

Shame there's no trophies involved, guess that's where the nothing part in the title comes from.

Typical tiny tots spinning a documentary about constantly snatching defeat from the jaws of victory and making it seem like some sort of achievement, I can't think of anything more spursy.

I'm not sure what I'm going to learn from watching it though, if I wanted to learn about bottling something I'm better off watching a documentary on the Evian factory biggrin

Lol an Arsenal fan talking about empty seats! rofl

For the record

An article from your own fansite but I just chose that at random. Google Arsenal empty seats and there are literally dozens of such articles to chose from.

You aren't even a decent wum and your posting style is very reminiscent of a previous banned poster. If you are going to come back with a new ID just to wum, at least do it with a bit more intelligence.

How did they manage to get 82,000 people in at the Bridge back in the 30’s? I presume it was all standing back then but even so that’s almost twice its current seated capacity.

Didn't you set a few attendance records whilst at Wembley?

Frankly the London stadium is more atmospheric than the Emirates.

Arsenal or Tottenham? Both London luvies teams for fans who watch on TV.

Tottingham - Blackburn have won the title more often than you in the last 50 years, and they beat you at Wembley in 2002!

Arsenal - ooh we’re the Invincibles! 15 years ago.

If you want success just drive along the M62 , Man City, Man Utd and Liverpool.

Yet another post by someone with a severe irony failure considering all the Utd, Liverpool and the one City fan I know all live in the south and have never been anywhere near "their" teams stadium. Seriously it's like the village idiots trying to wum.

Was this thread created with the intention of actually talking about the documentary (in which case why isn't it in the TV section) or is it just blatant trolling? Already seems to have descended in to pointless bickering.

I created it. Blatant trolling. HTH.

However, actually watched 1st 3 episodes last night and really enjoyed it. Favourite bit, Son walking in after being sent off v Chelsea, shouting "how is that a red, tell me, how is that a red?"

Errr....because the laws of the game say so, how could it be anything else?

It was a totally different stadium back then. There's an unofficial estimate of a crowd of 100K+ at the Bridge for a game against Moscow Dynamo just after the war.
