Just a casual bump to the top. Don’t forget there’s a Head to Head league too!

In again and looking forward to some continued FPL competition (read that as, frustration and annoyance briefly interrupted with pure fluke and a bit of excitement) for the new season on Saturday

Good luck to all smile

Back in. Just for information, there are a couple of postponed fixtures. I have 4 players in my team who won't be playing in game week 1 which will affect scores. I've put my subs on to cover 3 of them so not expecting a great opening week but I have a decent team so hoping to climb up to mid table mediocrity some time soon.

I'm new to FPL and in a H2H with a friend, I don't know if this is appropriate in this thread but could you advise me as to whether I should put any Man U/Man City players in my squad?
I was planning to have Bruno, Foden etc.

But due to the postponement would I be better off omitting these teams initially for GW1?

Only if you have a workable plan to bring them back in.

I don't have any United or city players for gw1, I do have a plan to bring a couple back by gw3

You have a squad of 15 so you could leave any utd/city players on the bench for GW1. Obviously this is only a good idea if you are certain that your other players will play this weekend!

The problem with leaving them out is that you will probably want to use your free transfers in the next couple of weeks to bring in players that have started the season well, as a) they will obviously be in form and b) you will benefit from their price rises.

Personally I'll probably go one each from city and utd and bench them this weekend.

Won't the Man City / Man U players get their points for GW1 just be added later once the fixtures are confirmed? Or will they not get any points for GW1 regardless of when they play?

Matches will be rescheduled and slotted into a later gameweek - so in effect during those weeks the likelihood is that the United, City & their opponents players will in effect have two games each so will potentially score highly.

My current dilemma in midfield:
Mount and Barnes
or
Havertz and Ceballos

What do you reckon?

Barnes fked me over last season & is Mount going to play with Chelsea having Pulisic, Havertz and the other guy they've bought?

I'd go the latter.

My current dilema is Justin or Saliba at the back?
