The media & players of yesterday seem to moan non stop about the magic of the cup losing its allure & grumble about the fans staying away but they are just as much to blame when no matter who united or Liverpool play their games will get chosen to be shown. Not united’s or Liverpool’s fault but sometimes it would be nice to see the lesser teams get a bit of attention because that is after all what the FA cup is all about.

Agreed completely. There have been some attractive-for-the-neutral Cup ties in recent seasons that seem to have been overlooked in favour of the more established Prem games, sometimes even all Prem games between average sides. Gone a bit AMG said:
