Architecturally, I think one of the nicest looking stadiums ever built/evolved. There have been issues, lack of sunlight to the grass and it seems that it's in quite a bad a shape, so much so the Milan clubs are thinking about tearing it down and starting again.

Quite surprised by this and looking at the new design plans, the current one looks so much better (problems aside).

What do you think?

I've been to the Milan derby. Iconic stadium, a cathedral of football that should not be allowed to be demolished. Same as the old Highbury, another iconic ground that, as an away fan, I just loved.

Been twice - Its an iconic and atmospheric (And very large) stadium for sure.
The first time (Denis Wise - 10mins to go game) we had lower tier seats at the pitch side - awesome
Second time (Mourinhos Inter beating us 2-1) we were in the gods behind thick plexi-glass - an atrocious experience in nearly every way and no way to watch a football match

Assuming that was the Curva sud, opposite Inter's main ultras? Was up there for a derby and thought it was fine, not for those who have a fear of heights but didn't think it was that bad. The walk up the spiral staircase is something else though!

Shame its going to be demolished. Will be replaced with some stey modern effort with glass tunnel's and a third of the stadium for hospitality punters. Modern football sucks.

We were at the top of the curve sud and away fans are behind a fairly thick plexiglass barrier- that alone was enough to ruin the experience. God those spiral staircases go on forever

Oh Denis Wise
Scored a fking great goal
In the San Siro
10 minutes to go.

The public transport needs sorting. After the Milan derby, we queued for 90 mins in the pissing rain to get into the tube station.
