Having searched the forum I could not find an FA Cup thread so created this for Final chat.

Die hard Watford fan and can't bloody wait. I'm not a fantasist, realise that it's one hell of a longshot but damn when your club makes the final it's a great great feeling. I was there in 84 as a 9 year old and have suffered ever since. The way the town celebrated after the 99 Playoff final I will never forget but this has the ability to eclipse all previous results.

Come on you 'orns.

All the best to Watford from a Fulham fan. As a follower of another club who have never won a major trophy, I know what moments like this feel like! The play off final last year was unreal, first time I'd seen us at Wembley, only our second ever and I was too young in 1975.

Up the Ornets.

I can only think of L***n, Wolves and some Palace fans cheering on City. We will absolutely be doing this for everyone who has a dream that football becomes a more equal sport again.

boxedin Sorry matey, I feel pretty dirty as I would normally be right behind Watford as a fellow smaller club supporter but I'm sure you understand...

What's the Wolves beef by the way? I must have missed something there.

They're in 7th place. So if City win the cup, the cup-winner's Europa Cup place goes to 7th. Can't blame Wolves fans for wanting a City win hehe

Ah, gotcha. Yes, I understand now, that's pretty much how my rabble of no-hopers got in to Europe the year we went on the run to the final (sniff, weep, I'll get over it one day).

Ha, fair point, how could I have forgotten that one? Incredible semi final. In normal circs though I'd hope that Wolves fans would be sanguine enough to still want a "lesser" team to prevail against a "big 6" in the final, but of course the Europa League thing might be more significant.

It's been a bloody brilliant season for both Watford and Wolves, I have enjoyed seeing them both flourish.

To put this in to perspective for Watford fans, on social media I've seen tales of people travelling from: Alberta, Bermuda, Cape Town, Dubai, Malaysia, Auckland, Tasmania, Melbourne, Sydney, Namibia.

It really is amazing the number of people who had no faith in the team so buggered off to other parts of the globe only to come back glory hunting laughlaugh
