Indeed. I expect a pregnancy testing kit manufacturer to be the first sponsor. "An accurate result within minutes".

Then will be the subtle pressure on the officials to refer a set number of incidents per game to VAR, so the sponsors see a fair return on their investment.

I wonder if it means football will adopt the American system of stopping the clock when at a dead ball situation. Then adverts can be as long as they like as there is no rush to get things started again ... we could have short adverts at free-kicks ...

I wonder which teams games will take the longest next season with all the VAR checks? Probably the team that dives the most......
