And postponed again.

They need to get the second leg played as the winner is due in the UAE in a few weeks for the Club World Cup.

Cannot be next weekend as Buenos Aires is hosting the G20 Summit

Heard on the radio they might not play at all. Declare the who competition null and void this year, in the hope the AFA deals with these issues.

Gutted, I was looking forward to it. The first leg was a cracker.

2nd leg to be played abroad a week Saturday or Sunday. Miami looking favourite.

River are furious they are losing home advantage for the game, when Boca have already had their home advantage.

Boca are furious the game is to be played at all, feel River should be disqualified and they get the win.

I’ll be in BA that weekend. Anyone know a good (and safe) sports bar there?

There's loads to choose from. From my experience, any of the bars in Central BA will be perfectly safe.

But I'd head to a bar in La Boca, and hope Boca win. The atmosphere will be amazing. If they lose, everyone will be miserable but it will still be safe. La Boca is full of tourists anyway.

Cheers. I guess they'll all drive around waving flags out of car roofs whoever wins

Just looking into the possibility of going. Return flights London/Madrid are £180, but Valencia is just £79 and €18 each way for the train to Madrid.

Match tickets seem to be the stumbling block, allocated out thru the 2 clubs only. Can just hope they can't git rid of their full allocation, and any returned tickets go on general sale?

It's an 80K seat arena. Will each club bring 40K fans? There aren't enough planes in the sky to transport them all!

River Plate are refusing to play in Madrid, best just toss a coin!

Looks like despite River refusing to play because they are losing home advantage, and Boca refusing to play because they say River should forfeit the tie, the game appears to be going ahead.

5K tickets went on sale to Argentina based River fans and 20K tickets to European fans in the River end yesterday.
Same ticket allocation will apply for Boca tonight.

My son and I will look to get 2 of the 20K tickets for non Argentinians in the Boca end tonight, and then book our flights, out Sunday and back Monday.

Watching in the hotel bar here in BA. Serious thunder and lightning this evening which may dampen the celebrations. Plaza de Mayo and Ave 9 de Jullio are lined with some heavy duty police barricades they’ve been setting up for the past couple of days

Great game. Barrios getting sent off was the key moment, what an idiot.

Yeah, some great skills on show. Physical game but huge stamina on both sides. Spent the day in La Boca, shame for them that River took ruthless advantage of the extra man

La Boca is great. My favourite bit is the very touching replication of the balcony scene with General and Eva Peron......and Diego Maradona rofl
