Highly recommended for ALL football fans, following Manchester City throughout last season, whatever team you support, gives you an insight into the background workings of a top premiership club.

I’d quite like to watch this, even as a West Ham supporter- so can I ask that nobody posts any spoilers as I’m interested in seeing how it finishes wink

Here's a mad suggestion... don't read this thread again until you've watched it and let those who have, discuss it.

I've finished the whole lot now, i really enjoyed it .

Vincent Kompany comes across as a superb team man & general good guy too.

Brandon the boot man is a bit of a star.
Pep knows how to swear in English
Some footballers behave like naughty children and have to be told off for pulling faces. Yes Sane, were talking about you!

I think my favourite bit was when Kompany is at the in-laws house when West Brom score.

Father-in-law in his United shirt laugh

He seemed to take it well though didn't he.

Is this the series which prompted Mourinho to make his comment about "not being able to buy class"? After a couple of stints managing Chelsea the irony did make me smile!

Which he admitted he hadn’t seen.

Yes. The segment where he was telling the young kids about Nelson Mandela was wonderful.

I've always liked Vincent, but my respect for him after watching this series has gone up ten fold.

I think the camaraderie amongst the players is awesome, even Bravo and Ederson seem to get on.

Re Pep's team talks, I've no idea what he's waffling on about, but they seem to work hehe

F.I.L, pointing to the CL winners on his shirt : “what’s this say”
Vinnie: “I live in the past”?

I’m not even interested in footballl but I found it fascinating. I wouldn’t fancy going to Anfield in the away team bus!

As someone said, hard to figure out what Pep is going on about in his team talks. Goodness knows what the members of the team who don’t understand English make of it.

They seem to have people for everything, but no translators!

To be fair it wasn’t Kompany that said that it was the production manager filming (a Liverpool fan no less).

I'm a Newcastle United fan for my sins.

I heard about this and paid no attention. Came down with a virus and binge watched it yesterday.

Have to say a really interesting insight into one of the biggest clubs in the world.

The obsession of Pep is awe inspiring to be honest. He lives and breathes football and it is touches like his Cruyff boots and his humble demeanour which enamoured me to him.

Then you have the players who have such a close bond. The youngsters through to the old guard. The kit men in particular were a joy to watch.

It makes you think if Yaya Toure recent media against Pep was just him venting off at being a bit part player towards the end of the season.

Also Pep meeting his bosses boss. Sheikh Mansour was interesting. Anyone know what that book they were turning was? I think Mansour said it was 150 years old. Was it the Quran?

EDIT: I started a thread, but let's stick to this one here.
