As I understand it, it'll be a 'B' game like Sevilla vs Real Sociedad or similar.

Can't see that being particularly attractive except if it's played in the more Latin states.

Of course the bigger picture is that this is part of a plan to try and haul La Liga up to Premier League levels of world wide popularity and as a consequence an equal financial footing.

I don't have an issue with it. I don't think I'm a more important fan, just because I live not far from the home ground. We get 19 league games, cup matches etc . If one game is played in the Far East so my clubs fans out there can get to see OUR team play, then I'll get over it.

Ps. As an aside, there's a banner at the back of the stand at Griffin Park (Brentford) that says JAKARTA BEES. I've often wondered how big a group the Jakarta Bees are. And say if you live maybe 50 miles outside Jakarta, and you're a Brentford fan, can you join the Jakarta Bees. Or would they say "fk off mate, we're the Jakarta Bees. We don't want any old bloody Indonesian Brentford fan joining our ranks, Jakarta residents only."

This will eventually open up the Pandora’s Box of the often discussed World League. When you have foreign businessmen owning clubs and data proving fans aren’t necessary it’s a shoe-in.

And if they win and La Liga don't go, and Seria A or the Prem take their place in the US, the extra money made and the higher player wages on offer will mean those same players will want a move to the place where they can earn the most.

Reminds me of Roy Keane and his prawn sandwich brigade rant. Complaining about corporate boxes, overlooking the fact that they help pay his exorbitant wages.
