Yesterday must rank as the most boring last day in the Premier League, yes there was a 5-4 and Wenger's last game but it was all dead rubber.

nothing to really play for

Relegation spots sorted (realistically if not mathematically)
Champions crowned already
European places done and dusted
players looking forward to a little break before international duties

wasn't going to be a spectacular day

It’s rarely anything other than that especially at the top, since the top 6 are rigged not to play each other in the first and last games of the season.
We will never have another Michael Thomas moment.

Nope. Chelsea had to go for it in case Liverpool lost. Unfortunately, no one appears to have told them. furious

Yeah those damn boring 5-4 games I hate them, give me a 0-0 bore draw any day.

82 days 'til the start of the next one, with a little competition in between.

And even that was rescheduled and turned out to be the last match ... on ITV IIRC ...

Surely you’d think Sky would WANT the last six playing each other the last weekend ... or would that mean that’s at least ONE ‘Super Sunday’ they miss out on hypin ... sorry, building up for about a fortnight ...

To be fair, it's only been six years since the most dramatic end to a Premier League season ever.

Don't get me wrong, I can't see it happening ever again like that though.
