With just over 2 weeks till the first game who do you think will win the league this season?

It looks to be a good one with the majority of the top 6 having spent a lot of money since the window opened to improve their squads to compete in the prem, champions league or Europa league.

I think Man Ciy will win it this season. A powerful attack with now an improved defence.
Man Utd a close second but scoring 25 goals less.

I don't think City will win, Pep is out of his depth in the PL.

Tottenham. I'm a Yid so can't vote any other way. As I see it they were 3rd, then 2nd, so fingers crossed on hitting the top this coming season. Another golden boot for the one season wonderboy, manager of the year for Poch, league cup, fa cup, champions league.

Mark my words, Spurs will win come close to winning the lot.

i appreciate the sentiment but if we all do that, the poll might as well be "who do you support?"

I voted with my head

I'm going

Man United - because Jose
Liverpool - because Klopp
Man City - because Pep will have a breakdown, if he loses it before Christmas then Spuds will come third
Chelsea - because track record of player complacency

and for no other reason than sheer guesswork, prejudice and pigheadery

Chelsea or Man City for me. Man City if their full backs settle in well. Honestly couldn't pick one of the two.

I agree, so tossed a coin and voted Chelsea.

Spurs likely 3rd, although the Wembley factor could hurt them?

Top 3 could be very close though.

What, you mean if you do really well in the first few weeks you're doomed to failing miserably nearer the end of the season? biggrin

Chelsea's complacency will kick in once again, so I'd put them 3rd but with a strong CL run that ultimately ends in disappointment.

Arsenal still don't have a spine.

I'm not sure Spurs will stay ahead of the strengthened squads in Manchester and West London.

City to blow the CL again and get disheartened.

Liverpool are treading water.

Mourinho to Mourinho his way to another EPL title.

Heart says Man Utd, as I'm a huge fan of Jose and *if* they can get Lukaku and Pogba firing on all cylinders, I think they'll do very well.

City will be there ish, but you can't buy a new defence and expect it to all work straightaway. I'll be surprised if Pep is still there come this time next year. Arsenal may surprise us all, but only if they get knocked out of the Europa League early. Liverpool I'd like to see do well but just because Klopp is a bit of a dude: Realistically they're going to finish some way off the top two. Chelsea look to have strengthened everywhere so could walk it again.

Spurs won't even make top four this year, simply due to Wembley. A real shame as I love watching them, but it's a mental thing now and they'll struggle to get past that.

City
United
Chelsea

Undecided on 4th, Spurs have the Wembley thing going on so I can see them struggling to make top 4. I think Arsenal could make it, but I'm not convinced. If Liverpool lose Coutinho, then I can see them struggling to make top 4. Depending on a few signings there could be a new entry in to the top 4 from the blue half of Liverpool biggrin

It's going to be tight this season that's for sure!

I voted another team. Come on Huddersfield.

Yeah, deluded, but first match I saw at Leeds Road a chap called Denis Law turned out, though I was too young to understand what football was about really, certainly under school age.

United unfortunately - Lukaku will turn a lot of those costly draws into wins.

As a City fan, agree with the comments about Pep - don't think he will be around this time next year and certainly hope he isn't. Hopefully, he will prove me wrong but I haven't seen any signs so far that he is any better than Pellegrini (other than at upsetting/bombing out players).

Just like Zlatan you mean, no Lukaku decent striker be he´s no Zlatan.

It´s going to be either Chelsea or City.
