Given the recent conversations on multiple threads about what is better, to finish high in the premiership or win a cup, I've started a poll for you to vote on. It's one vote per person

Option 2 for me. "Finish 4th in the league & win the league"

There is no "Exceed Expectations" or "Be Entertained" options.

Out of those why would you not click finish 6th and win the europa?

European football next season and a trophy?

I would like my team to win the FA Cup, just once in my lifetime. They have lost one semi-final in my lifetime (well, one final also but I was too young to remember it), and also lost one European final (getting there felt like a miracle). Any other trophy would be nice, but the FA Cup is the big one to me. I consider my team to have zero chance of ever winning the Premier League (they're not even in it at the moment), but then again so didn't Leicester.

I think my club is arguably one of the two "biggest" clubs (hate that term) to never have won a major trophy.

So, none of the above.

Why isn't there an option for winning the league?

Or is the assumption that winning the Premiership is preferable to wining the Champions League?

Right now, I'd rather win the Premiership than Champions League.

I may be getting confuse by the point of this poll. biggrin

Haha very true... Last one for me as Arsenal do that even though frustrating at times!

It was really to consolidate the bickering between Man Utd, Liverpool and Spurs fans. Most would rather win the league, but if you cannot win the league, then what is best. Trophies or position in the league

I clicked 2, I would have clicked option 3 if it was Man Utds season - finish 6th, win Europa AND League cups

Only Spurs fans grit their teeth and can't admit that is preferable than finishing second and winning the golden boot rofl

Being entertained is the priority for me. Who wants to sit through 50 odd games of dull, defensive, uninspiring football just to win a cup - where is the enjoyment in that?

Playing good, entertaining footie and winning a trophy is the goal. What's the point in watching dull games? You may as well just follow the match on BBC Live Scores or wait to read the result the following day. Or follow Chelsea when Mourinho was in charge.

I didn't think that we had to play boring crap like Man U in order to achieve it smile

Can we have an option "Live within a parsimonious budget" because some fans (read Spurs) excuse their lack of trophies with the fact they're doing it on the cheap. Who cares.

Huddersfield - so I picked the "no chance" option

Elsewise, I would be pleased with any of those, even a season of entertaining PL football, hopefully they do a Bournemouth and stay up, the club seems professional and well managed so hopefully that's the case, time will tell of course.
