Played 28, lost 28, 300 against, 14 for. That's a goal conceded every 8.4 minutes. Is there a worse side to see out a season without folding halfway through?

They're a local side & I know a few of the lads. It boils down to a change of chairman last summer. he fell out with the manager who decamped with most of the players to other sides.

They got a new guy in & a bunch of school kids & wheezy old campaigners just to turn out each week & keep the thing alive while it settles down again, which is fair enough.


If you followed some of the match reports, there's guys scoring six & seven goals against them with barely enough time to get back in their own half before going down the other end & slotting again. I think the worst was a 22-0 with a couple of double hat tricks.

I'd genuinely be interested to see if there's a local side with a worse season than these.

Watch out for them this season....could well be title challengers this season after an influx of players from two divisions above. Got to love County League football!

Is that so? I saw the manager moved on to Goring in the paper, so I guess for them, the only way is up. Whilst there's obviously the lols side of it, I actually have a bit of admiration for them turning out week after week to take the inevitable & huge spankings, can't have been much fun picking the ball out of the net twenty times a game!

Just imagine those 14 goal celebrations though .Hats off to them, they might just be my new 2nd team for this season (although Montpelier Villa surely have the most attractive name)
