Just got my season ticket renewal notification from Chelsea with a due date of 5pm 12th May.

I always find this mildly irritating that they get our money in so early. I was at Wealdstone last weekend and you could buy season tickets for £99 but to be fair this was an earlybird scheme with about 60% off.

Who's renewal date is the earliest?

My email arrived this week (from WBA) - if I renew by 3 June the ticket is £475 instead of £499. I think the deadline for keeping the same seat is the end of June.

They asked me to renew last season and we didn't even have 11 first team players! Wish I hadn't bothered. I will wait a little longer this time discount or no discount.

BTW how much is a Chelsea season ticket?

Depends where you sit but mine is £900. Price hasn't changed for at least 5 years.

Is that just for league games ? or do you get cup games too ?

It mirrors my experience of buying a Porsche.

It's the basic league model only and all other games are extra although FA and Carling games are £25.

£900 for 19 games is over £47/game, which is no real saving over 19 individual tickets. (but you don't have the hassle of trying to get the tickets, loyalty points and all that stuff). I guess you get 1st dibs on away tickets, and not subject to loyalty points nonsense.

There's no way I could get to all the games hence my reason for just buying tickets as and when.

Blackburn Rovers renewal was out at the match last saturday, tying in nicely with our worst performance of the season!

Southampton season ticket holder, centre block at St Marys.

To retain my seat for next season, I have to shell out £674 by 14 May - just before the bi-annual migration of half our squad to Merseyside.

Watford season ticket, I have to pay by 1 May. Agree it's annoying we have to pay so early!

Lucky I'm phase 2 renewals - phase 1 had to pay by today!

The Arsenal renewal is strange, you have to pay 50% straight into Arsene Wenger's Jersey account and 50% straight into Stan Kroenke's Jersey account but it does entitle you to free entry to the home leg of a Champions League Semi-final should Arsenal get that far.

Huddersfield Town renewal has to be in by 28th April if you are to take advantage of £199 offer. Looks like we're heading for over 17000 (up 2000 on this year) which is fantastic to think we were selling only 8500 2 years ago.

Brilliant value for championship football and unreal value if we get promoted. Best chairman in football and one of the best young managers equals a fantastic time to be a Town fan

That isn't too bad for a London club. Wednesday and Leeds fans really do get ripped off

I've got my fingers crossed that we manage to avoid you in the play offs. By far the best team I've seen this season

I was a guest of your club on Friday v Preston. Completely agree with everything you say and I'd add another couple of names to that, Sean Jarvis and John Williams. When you have people like that pushing deals like you offer, you're a long way down the road to success.
