Allardyce done?
Discussion
It's one thing to use your position to get a few after dinner speaking gigs and the like to earn a bit extra, but helping someone circumvent FA rules and participating in the pretty dodgy area of third party ownership of players just takes the p*ss for me.
Who's next for the hot seat then?

Given the barrel bottom was close to being scraped when Allardyce was appointed, that's a good question. Who's next for the hot seat then?

The press do something like this and then wonder why England never win anything? - all the press ever do is find some way in which to dig the dirt on England players and managers.
And Allardyce didn't know this would be the case? Woy was at least clean.I fear it may be Hoddle next.

Greed. What's up with these people?
England are a laughing stock.
The sport worldwide is infested with a culture of corruption and brown envelope backhand financial transactions. It's endemic and will not change soon.England are a laughing stock.
As far as England is concerned, it's because of these fatal flaws in the way the game is run that England will never win a major confirmation in what's left of my lifetime.

Whilst I think the FA need to follow due process, if you're paid £3m a year for the ultimate (in patriotic terms) management job in English football I think you have a duty not to give the press any dirt.We don't know the details of why he was there, but why was he there? When asked to go meet a bunch of middle eastern businessmen why couldn't "I'm sorry but I'm the newly appointed England manager, I'm paid £3m a year, whatever the offer is I'm not interested" be the answer?
