I don't venture in here very often and may be chased back out again if this has already been asked.

So, having watched the squad of English donkeys in the Euros this summer, could the womens England football team beat the men? The men, I say men, looked like they had all the get up and go of a squad of lame sloths, where as the women looked like they were up for it in the last game I saw.

Over to the panel.

England U12s could probably give the women's teams a game.

It's been discussed before and there's examples of youth/amateur teams beating professional women with ease I think.

It's not at the same level. Womens football has a small talent pool and gets a fraction of the investment. It's harsh to judge mens against womens and the teams should be judged against their own competition.

You can't compare the 2. We should be proud that we have a half decent women's team that were very unlucky to lose a WC semi. They put the men to shame. And were far more enjoyable to watch.

They wouldn't get a look in if placed up against a pro club's u/18 men's team but so what.

Definitely, but our women would beat Iceland's women, and that's all that matters.

Definitely smile
Maybe women will mix it up with our men one day but not right now.

The Australian national women's football team (ranked 5th in the world) played against a team of under-15 boys in the run up to the Rio Olympics.

They lost 7-0

And not even a good team of under 15 boys.
