I'm soon to be going on honeymoon with the now Mrs Murdoch, we're spending a few nights ion Barcelona (neither of us have been before)

There is a game on at the Nou Camp and she's happy to go. Now, where would be the best place to sit? I don't mean best per se, I just don't want to go in among the hard core nutters (whilst I would appreciate the experience the Mrs probably less so...)

I want her to come away with a positive experience.

They will be cheap seats, budget is a max of 80 euro per seat.

Cheers

To be honest, anywhere. There are no hard core nutters really. They desperately need some! I hate to throw a wet blanket on the idea, but it's a very bland ground. No roof so the sound just floats away, and half the crowd are, like us, tourists anyway. Unless it's against Espanyol or R Madrid, or a big CL match, it's hardly worth going.

I went with wife and my 2 sons ( 11 and 13 ) to the Celta Vigo match on Valentine's Day. There were just over 70,000 fans there but no trouble. We were sat on the very bottom of the 'S' in the 'MES QUE UN CLUB' yellow seats on the centre tier near the halfway mark.
Great view of all the goals

Managed to get two tickets together on the halfway line, but up in the gods, i'm looking forwards to it. I note comments regarding the atmosphere, but chances of coming back to Barcelona, especially when R Madrid are in town, will be be very slim.

I was going to wait tonight to get feed back on here and then book, but looking on there website I only saw two seats side by side, so I just booked them in case they weren't there later.

Tickets for El Clásico were a LOT more expensive when I looked. Atmosphere didn't seem too bad at the match I went to....although Barca were out to prove a point after they got tonked at the beginning of the season in the away leg!
