Not much word on my home clubs spectacular rise in here.

I may be biased but i truly believe that Burton Albion's achievement to get into the Championship is AT LEAST equal to that of Leicester winning the Premiership.

How we will do next year, heaven knows. However, i'm sure we will all delight in watching matches such as Burton Albion Vs Aston Villa, Newcastle (probably), Leeds, Forest, Derby (maybe) etc etc etc.

I have to say - well done!

I'm a Canary but live in Ulster. I keep in touch with my season-ticket holding brother by e-mail, and when I last contacted him it was to discuss relegation issues (obviously!) and I looked up the League 1 tables to see who we might be playing next year. I have to say, with all due respect, I was a touch surprised.

All power to you. It's so nice to see smaller clubs getting some time in the spotlight - last year we had Bournemouth going up, and very nearly Brentford. Leicester have put a smile on my face this year, and I wish you all the very best for 2016/17. I understand the beer is pretty good round your way.

I hope this has made a few of the big-money clubs have a re-think about their attitudes.

Excellent achievement. We (Stevenage) came close to the triple promotion before Westley bailed on us to go to Preston, sadly we weren't quite the same... had he stayed I'm convinced we'd have won the play offs.

Always had a soft spot for Burton, similar sized club to us, enjoyable away day (not many have terraces for away fans these days) and I always enjoy seeing the smaller clubs do well.

Very happy for Lucas Akins, thoroughly nice chap and very driven on the pitch. Under rated by many of our fan base (like Peter Vincenti at Rochdale) but proving how good he is with you guys.

Yeovil fan here. Fantastic achievement from Burton Albion - always had a soft spot for you since Nigel Clough got his team to do a guard of honour for us in 2003 (we'd won the Conference title the week before!).

Went to watch Burton away at Birmingham this season and was so impressed by how they played. Akins played the ultimate hold up role that day, was almost unplayable at times. Even nicer to hear both sets of fans chant "One Gary Rowett, there's only one Gary Rowett" in the second half. And a great 2-0 win to boot at St Andrews, which was Zola's last game in charge of the Blues.

Good luck next season. I wish we had shown half the gumption Burton did when we had our season in the Championship!
