Sky Bet Championship - watch on tv/online?
Discussion
Bit of a newb having not been interested in football for most of my life but my son has gotten into it and we've started supporting our local team which is in the sky bet championship. We get to watch the odd clip on the TV in the evening but what I don't understand is, clearly they film the whole match so why don't they stream it (at a cost) online ? Is it the economics of doing the editing and production for X championship games versus the number of people who would want to watch online and pay to do so?
TV rights in the UK don't allow for 3pm Saturday games to be shown anywhere.
Best thing to do is watching dodgy streams (just google 'free football streams' or similar).
Best thing about my team being promoted to the Premier League is that EVERY game is available somewhere in the world, Championship games are far more hit/miss.

Thanks. That's what I don't understand though, why is it in anyone's interests for the games not to be shown ?
It used to be to stop dwindling attendances. I guess with the prices continuing to rise that this problem is resurfacing again. Of course, for the smaller clubs in the lower divisions, it is truly life or death whether people continue to pay or sit at home and watch ManUre
