Most others mentioned at CM have either been just off the front or just in front of the back 4.

Not being a Gerrard fanboy or anything, just couldn't think of many CMs who had been good.

Who is Walters?

I'm pretty sure they all play CM. Gerrard has played as the holding roles and the attacking, so just picking others.

Walters is the guy at Stoke who put 2 past Liverpool while playing against Gerrard.

Agreed Yaya has been off the pace compared to last season, but Gerrard has had a couple of good games at best.

From the games I've seen, reading the after match reports or the Liverpool thread here, he's been MIA until the last few weeks.
