Mario Balotelli

Can't last much longer can he? Just had a wrestling match with the manager:

Brilliant.Hes top class. Does what he likes because frankly he can... until he's kicked out of MCFC and no-one wants to sign him

But Kimi actually performs pretty consistently out on the track (pitch).
What does that have to do with anything? TheHeretic said:
See my edit. Balotelli has won plenty of national titles, Cup competitions, a European cup, etc. He is not what you would call 'unsuccessful'.
Sure the question is who is going to take a risk on him from here ? How many of the handful of clubs/managers that are in serious contention to win trophies in Europe going to want to sign him? Man City have looked better without him on the pitch this season and plainly last season there were times some of the players would rather he wasn't playing. We all remember Joe Hart's reaction......
He's hugely talented but the baggage is bigger I'd say.

Be that as it may, he is arguably City's fourth choice/fourth best forward, and all he seems to do for his £100k a week is disrupt the team (and seemingly now the manager too) and paint stuff in camouflage. If even Mancini is getting tired of his antics I think he is in very real danger of throwing what could be a very promising career away. pokethepope said:

Again, what does that have to do with how he is perceived? I bet he has more than enough money so can have an attitude that isn't frankly as different to Kimi, (and yet Kimi is idolised). So... I think my point stands. The only difference is Mario is a footballer.

It is more like £160-180k a week, isn't it?Gassing Station | Football | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
