Well we've been silent for a few months and it's about time we started celebrating the new-look financially-viable table-topping Palace.
Yet another great win today, with more great team displays from KG, Bolasie and Zaha et al. Also our fans are beginning to be recognised as being very good, accepting that we're not in the Premiership (yet). 3,500 Palace fans out of around 9,000 attendance today. Well done everybody
(Cue moaning weed, promising to beat us on 1st....)

EEEEEEEEEEEAGLES!
Season ticket holder here and regular Selhurst visitor since 1976!!!!
Cant believe were flying so high this season and remember we're definitely not a one trick pony team. Player of the season so far has to be Jedinak, he's amazing. Not to mention Bolasie on the other wing to Zaha. Murray is scoring for fun and of course Julian Speroni in goal, he'll have no worries in the Premier league.
Olly's Red & Blue army for automatic promotion? I hope so!

Not watched it, but I bet he is accusing the press of trying to unsettle the player. Even though every week Ollie will have been bigging him up as the best/one of the best players he has every had, could/will play at a much higher level (a top 4 team), if Joe Bloggs is worth £10m then Zaha is worth more etc. This will go on for a few weeks, then he has a pop at some reporter who has the cheek to ask if anyone has enquired/put a bid in. After the next game the sequence will start again.
He should be due an interview where he will go off about FIFA/UEFA.
I gave up listening to his press interviews halfway through our (Blackpool) year in the Prem. His pre-match interviews the day(s) before a game got to the point that they were about 5mins to do with Blackpool/the upcoming match and 15mins about other stuff and putting the world to rights.
It was fun listening to him at the start, but got to the point where I would actually turn the radio over when his interviews came on. I would then just wait until somebody posted up on a message board the main points about BFC that he actually said.
I'm looking forward to the piece in tomorrow's matchday programme by Kevin Day re the return of Dougie Freedman, as I had a conversation with him about it earlier this week when he said he wasnt sure which way to angle it. I hope he takes the moral high ground and wishes Dougie all the best.
In my mind Dougie is a hero for Palace, a legend. I'll never forget that goal at Stockport. There are clearly issues around his departure that he's not commented on, and yes he should have said good bye properly, but we're all grown ups and he got more money elsewhere after having a presumably less-than-committed meeting with the current owners.
CPFC2010 have also done an excellent job since taking over, so there are no villains as far as I'm concerned. I just hope Dougie gets respect when he walks out on the pitch, but I somehow doubt it because the boo boys are always loudest.
Looking for a victory, more to the point

It's been a while.
Today is 23 years to the day that Palace beat Liverpool 4-3 in a magnificent FA Cup semi final at Villa Park, having been beaten 9-0 at Anfield earlier in the same season. The best day in the history of the club and I was privileged to be there.
Happy days and hopefully a bit of that resolve will be found to see us promoted in May.
