Ignoring the ridiulous 'handshake-gate' it's a shame we didn't bag the full 3 points, and from what I saw there were very good shouts for a penalty. Some you win etc.... At least Citeh only took a draw, so we're still top. Looking forward to the return of the CL!

What a scorcher from Oscar. I'm at work but saw the replay on a goal clips site.

It sounds like, apart from a few defensive snooze moments, we are moving the ball around well and looking dangerous when at pace?

Isn't it always the way. Almost score at one end, they go and score at the other.

I say it again, our defence is not good enough, particularly the holding midfielders who are just not upto it. This will be a poor result having been 2-0 ahead to be 2-2. They need to get themselves together in this last few minutes.

No, not good at all. It's the lack of pace at the back that is worrying. Ivan and JT are slow, only Luiz and Cole offer any pace, Mikel still seems to be confused about what to do. I guess it could be the kick up the arse they need to get their act together. Juve are a good team, any team with Pirlo will be a good team, but still should have been beaten at home. Let's hope for a better result this weekend.

This. Mikel is a farking liability. And whatever Lamps has been in his career, a holding midfielder isn't part of his repertoire.

Lots of talk about Fellaini being sought after in Jan. He's a great player, like a Yaya Toure but not what we need right now. Shipping Essien off to Real looks a dumb move, particularly if Romeu isn't being given a crack.

see i think a 2-2 was a good result, alright going up 2-0 at home should be a win. but a draw on the first European night against the Italian champions who have been unbeaten in 42 games domestically is not a bad result.

Nah, 2-0 up at home - we should be taking a win from that. Stunning goal Oscar. Poor all round for their 2nd. We could really use a player in the image of Makele shielding the back 4, reading the game and breaking up opposition play whilst never giving the ball away; for all his imposing physique and occasional deft touch, Mikel loses both the ball & his concentration too much to be a world class holding midfielder. And with our setup & back 4, we need one....

I presume Mikel must have some dodgy photos of Roman hidden somewhere, as that's the only reason I can think of as to why he keeps getting a game.
