The Official I Hate Wayne Rooney & Mankchester United Thread
Discussion
I am not a fan of Rooney or UTD but I can't really say I hate them.I don't know Rooney other than from the TV and I only dislike UTD in terms of them being a rival we shouldn't really use terms like hate in football their is enough aggression in the crowds already.
I recently sat at a reception next to an old dear in her 80's and she had become a UTD fan after the awful Munich disaster. Now how could I possibly hate someone like her we had a really good natter about the different greats each team had produced over the years.

Never met the guy but I am involved in a type of charity that has a strong community that speak to each other (dogs). Anyways, a friend of mine in England told me how Wayne Rooney is a dog lover and unofficially donated a fair chunk of money to help a bunch of dogs in need.
I am not sure if the OP hates the team or the supporters more. If its the team, its just a bunch of professionals doing a job in a red shirt. They make a lot of people happy. If its the supporters how about you save your hatred for those who need it. Such as for people who like Russell Brand.

Don't hate any particular club (though Chelsea and Man City are pushing it) but hate the state of the game and this money = success bulls**t that follows it. I just wish the 'top 4/5' (a phenomenon created through wealth) would p*** off to Europe and not try and spoil it for us losers who still like the football.
Its a sure sign of capitalism killing itself slowly IMHO.
As for hating players - hmmm closest is definitely Diouf, maybe Ronaldo for being a big girl and ruining his obvious world-class ability.

Hate the club, hate the fans, hate the players. Only collectively though, because they're such scummy mercenaries who don't care about anything, but money. That's why they're so w
k in Europe, they've got no class.
As for Rooney, I think he's a brilliant player who's had very tough decisions to make at a very early age. He gets so much s
te that he doesn't deserve. I think he comes over well in interviews, you can't judge someone's personality by on field actions. He's under a lot of pressure week in week out.
