Now, I remember him doing very well for NI and I was pleased for them that they were doing well during his tenure as manager. Then I remember him walking out on the national team to manage Fulham which dropped the Irish right in the st. He then lasted 6 months with Fulham dropping them into the st before being sacked after winning just two games all season. Interestingly his wiki page doesn't mention he was sacked by Fulham, and indeed paints a rather rose tinted view of his time there - I wonder who wrote it?

Since being sacked by Fulham he's been out of the game, returning with Barnet as a consultant for a few games and then manager since May. So now it seems he wants to drop Barnet in the st just like he did Northern Ireland.
Nice bloke!

Black can man said:
He did score a great cup final goal though
On a serious note, I think it's appalling for him to come out and say what he's said. In the same breath as saying Worthington should be sacked, he's put himself forward for the bleeding job! Thou shalt not covet another mans job!
