Euro super league ?

After the weekends sheer gulf in class between the money teams & the teams that have not got the limitless funds teams in the premiership i can't help thinking that there will become a time when the likes Man u, City & Chelsea will no longer want to go to places like Wigan , Swansea & Blackburn ( pure examples no offence meant ) & will seek the bigger games against the bigger teams more often .
I know a Euro super league has been mentioned in the past , but i feel within the next 10 years this could well be a starter ,
The TV companies & sponsors would pile oodles of cash into it knowing the worlds top players will be playing against each other week in week out

Wouldn't the traditional fans be alienated by the sheer cost of going to see them away?
Football used to be a game which many played and was within the reach of lots of people to go and see live. Over time is has become a business, one aimed at making money and exploiting the fans to take ever more money from their pockets. The fans are the cash elements and the owners of the rich 10-15 clubs the people who have changed the playing field. We as fans have let this happen in the quest for glory and success, but the bubble will burst and the owners take away their money when the public realise they are getting less value for money. Pity the fans who sink everything into supporting their favourite clubs and blame the TV moguls who have created a monster.......
It used to be possible to go home and away to league games, if your club was in Europe to make the odd away trip and enjoy the spectacle. The game is becoming a plaything and the move towards an inevitable superleague is a sad one and one which I hope takes a very long time

I don't think it would, if you win the premiership then you would replace the lowest team from the super league, so teams like Bolton Stoke etc etc would all have something to play for, where as at the moment if you are not one of the fortunate clubs to have billions of pounds then there is really is nothing to play for year in year out.I have been following Villa all my life and i just cannot see how we can compete now or even in the future, sometimes i feel that relegation would be good because at least we would have payoffs and promotion to look forward too

The only way it could work is if the team that won the Europa Cup was the one that got promoted, not the Premiership. Europe is pretty big. But I would suggest that it will be a closed shop - the drop in income and revenue would be far too much to bear for a team that fell out of the super league. I don't think it would work with promotion & so forth , & teams with a capacity of less than 50,000 spectators would not be permitted to join the league ,
it would just have to be say 4 or 5 teams from , England , Spain , Germany , Italy , france & holland ,
Every game would be a huge sell out & clubs could basically charge whatever they want if you was playing the cream of europe every weekend , & the people would pay it too
Sadly the game is all going the wrong way with ordinary folk not being able to afford to go to games , i just think it's going to get worse

City have just proved what bks that is by a £400m donation in naming rigthts for the stadium 
. Fair play rules ! thats funny If you create a superleague, then the incentive goes from lots of other clubs as it will be a closed shop which can afford all good players.
Football is deluding itself if it thinks it is sustainable to continue growing revenues at this pace and the formation of a super league would price nearly all out of supporting the big clubs week in week out and football would be reduced to a TV sport
