£30m doesn't count to PSR fully for us as the buyer, its only fully counted for PSR as the seller, so £30m into NUFC's balance sheet before 30th June.
Whatever we "get" for Vlach is amortised for PSR so for example, Vlach cost us £4m on a 4 year contract, 3 years left on his contract means anything over £3m from NUFC is a PSR profit. If NUFC scratch our back like we scratched theirs and get £10m, that's £7m in PSR profit

Can you explain what you mean by the bit I've highlighted, please?Whatever we "get" for Vlach is amortised for PSR so for example, Vlach cost us £4m on a 4 year contract, 3 years left on his contract means anything over £3m from NUFC is a PSR profit. My thinking was that because, as long as the PL is notified a deal is imminent, it can go through several days after the 30th June.
In this case we agree to buy Anderson, so Newcastle notify the PL and the transfer is classed as 30th June, meanwhile we just put it through on the 1st of July. Reverse this for Vlachodimos.
Entirely speculation on my part but I couldn't understand how two clubs who need to sell, could be buying players on PSR deadline day.

My understanding from what I've read and heard from various sources is that us buying Anderson means that the £35m (or whatever is the price) can be counted on NUFC's accounts for the season just ended with regard to PSR, so they get +£35m on their balance sheet as he is a homegrown academy player so pure profit. My thinking was that because, as long as the PL is notified a deal is imminent, it can go through several days after the 30th June.

With regard to how the purchase affects our PSR for the season just ended, is not fully clear, but as I understand it, the £35m cost doesn't go against our accounts for the season just ended as the cost is amortised over the length of the contract, so £7m per year, but the PSR cost is calculated per day, so only £20k in this years accounts as there was one day left of the accounting year.... what happens over the next 12 months is another matter

From what I understand, you have got it 100% correct!
