We're after Dutch coaching staff too smile...think this one will be ok though.

Ruuuuud is in talks with us about coming back. If our strikers can't learn from him then god help us. Good move for all if it happens I think.
I wish Peter Schmeichel would do the same yes

Certainly don't see it being a bad thing with Ruud in the coaching set up! Hopefully he can get Rasmus as a world beater smile

Don’t be daft, I don’t want Schmeichel coaching our forwards! Although….

He has a hard job, because he has been garbage for Denmark, no composure in front of goal, with the chances he has had.
The fact they subbed him off after 80 mins leaving on Ericksen when they were 2-0 down needing goals says a lot.

Ashworth in then, great news and a good way to start the week! Also Barrada starts in 12 days too biggrin

Now we're in July and a new accounting period, we're probably going to see movement on transfers too.

Things are on the up smile

Was just reading Ashworth is in which is good. Hopefully amount we had to pay wasn't too much and impact our PSR. Will be interesting to see if those coaches changes happen as well, always good to get new voices at the club.

Just need to get a few bodies out the door and money in the coffers.

Thoughts on De Ligt? Top class defender but a risky one due to his injury record and I have to question why we would be his 4th club and he only 24 years old...

If we can get him for 30-40 million euros then it's not a bad risk to take.

Juve sold him because they needed the money. Munich will sell him because they now have Dier.

He defiantly has had some injury issues, but I wonder if he fell out of favour with Tuchel at Bayern?

Young, talented but it all depends on the fee and wages if its a risk or not.

Seems like Bayern, who are a bit stacked in the CB department even without the prowess of E. Dier esq. are selling for the cash. They'll replace him with Tah from Leverkusen, for less and with lower wages, whilst not massively being weakened. It's logical from them, doesn't necessarily mean De Ligt is a busted flush.

Injuries would be a concern though, for sure, as would the wage as have been mentioned. If we were in the position Bayern are we would be expected to sell for cheap, or a loan with a purchase option. Hopefully our new wonderteam can get on the ball and do something decent.

De ligt seems injury prone so fits in with our current philosophy.
