Actually one of the rumours circulating a couple of weeks ago that has come to pass.

Trott off out and him in, meant to come in as a mentor really from what I heard for the squad balance as well as being a useful 3rd choice.

We've already two experienced, senior keepers (appreciate one of them's a little fragile) & we've not the additional Euro game this season. I accept that he'll be a training keeper as per David Martin a few seasons back, rather see someone younger though.

Potentially the younger one was fed up. I wouldnt want to be a 23/24 year old sitting behind those two. Fab looks like he is going to last forever lol

True, so few oppo's for them - Fab's got another year @ WH, Areola's deal runs until 2027.

Well they let Knightsbridge go to Oxford which was a huge surprise baring in mind his climb through the ranks and England appearances.

Another one of the youth players who's contract was up though, seems to be an alarming trend in the club to be honest. I suspect it was a Moyes thing, so hopefully we can turn this around and see better development coming through.

Its where the money is at, young players adding energy to the first team and just one season and a handful of appearances they can be worth £10m+

At a guess we're waiting to see how bad Alvarez's injury is.

Also if Paq's not going to be available we've only Ward Prowse and Soucek in the centre at the moment.

Lets hope not all the youth players bugger off, we will need them!

Excluding 'keepers & Ben Johnson we're at 19.

However take out Mubama (FT), Ings (likely sale), Benhrama (likely sale), Cornet (perma-crook) = 15.

W/ cloud over Paq, Alverez injured, suggestion that Aguerd wants away & Downes to be sold we're barely into double figures ffs.
