Stoopid question. Does that penalty count as Ronaldo scoring in 6?

Ah well, France should batter them
Did you watch France earlier?

It could be another Extra time / penalties affair again.

Looking like Portugal but not sure either side should go through.

(Is the keeper good or Slovenia just useless.
A bit of both. Slovenia’s strength is stopping the other team scoring, rather than scoring themselves.

Well there's enough salt in the last few pages to keep the entire Iberian peninsula in tasty cod for several years. How are people still so bitter about Ronaldo, grow up.

Sesko will be thinking about that missed chance for a while.

Given how harsh the rules are for keepers on pens, did Ronaldo not stop completely in his run up? I thought that wasn't allowed and Havertz was the same the other day.

Agreed the pile on on tv has been outrageous.
He’s still a pr*ck though.

I am pleased that only goals scored in open play count, that seemed right but I wasn't sure, so I asked a question. HTH smile

How come Portugal / France play on Friday and England / Switzerland on Saturday when Portugal / France games happened a day after the England game and 2 days after Swiss?

If he'd scored the other pen, then it would have counted.

It's all rigged to ensure a smooth journey for England to the final airport. hehe

It's a shame most of the coverage was about Ronaldo crying as Diego Costa outshone Oblak at the end. 3 worldie saves at full stretch each time and the first keeper to save 3 pens at the Euros ever.

And say what you like about Ronaldo, he wasn't afraid to step up and take another pen when it mattered - and smack it exactly where he intended either. Some talent, some character.
