What is can't fathom, is England are STILL favourites for the tournament.
I doubt they're favourites if you're putting a bet on in Madrid. Or Frankfurt. Or Paris. Or Geneva for that matter.

I'm glad we got through but I'd still sack him with immediate effect.
A team of decent players set up to play without the ball by an unpopular manager somehow find a way to scrape results.

Sounds vaguely familiar.

Be careful what you wish for....

Was what we were told.

It's all motivated by ENGLISH betting companies to encourage you to spend that pound coin, no other country makes us favourites.

That is a very good point I hadn't considered.

Because they are the highest ranked team through to the next round.
Arguably with Germany

I don’t really fancy us agains Switzerland who have looked pretty good so far. We need a big improvement I just can’t see coming based off the performances so far… but you never know. Just glad to still be in it.

They're also in the 'easy' half of the draw.
Though I doubt the Swiss are too worried.

Just because I disagree that these are world class players doesn't make my opinion any less than yours. Engage in debate - prove me why tonights performance shows they are world class? Engage, don't just berate someone who doesn't share your POV
It’s not really a question that can be argued. Kane, Bellingham and Foden are coveted by some of the best managers in the world. They play at the highest level, and despite these indisputable facts you’re unable to separate your dislike for them, from the real issue. But that’s fine. You really don’t have a clue.

You just knew we would go back to men behind the ball once we went one up. Southgate dug out by Bellingham and Kane when the pair of them were largely dreadful for the entire 90.

We've all seen England go out of tournaments time and again but rarely have we ever seen such pathetic performances and it happening one game after the next. We've taken 26 players and we are blessed to have such depth in the squad yet Southgate refuses to make any changes unless necessary. It's mind blowing how he didn't do anything for over 80 minutes tonight, despite the fact that we were absolutely toothless in front of goal before Bellingham's last minute goal.

We have very much dodged a bullet here. A decent team will give us the mother of all drubbings.
