Just look at that. Slovenia had an attacking position for once, and the moment it broke down they were instantly back in their defensive formation. Every player understanding his role perfectly. Seriously impressive.

It's focussed on Ronaldo because he forces them to focus on him. If they don't put a pass into him, he's barking at them, even when the chance of them making the pass is slim. Regardless of how good he was, his ego is now printing headlines his body can't create. Martinez is afraid of hooking him here, he should have been taken off instead of Leao.
